Join us at the 2019 Outstanding Women’s Luncheon “Owning Our Magic.” We will honor 10 amazing women who continuously empower and change the lives of others in the Houston community.
This celebration and charitable event will ensure the YWCA Houston continues its mission. As the second largest Meals on Wheels provider, we daily serve over 1,500 seniors with hot meals. In line with our mission of empowering women we assist over 40 homeless women and their families with supportive housing and equip them with the skill sets to live independently. The YWCA’s youth stem and leadership programs are designed to equip youth ages 12-18 with the skills and assets that will drive them towards interest in stem careers, community activism, and leadership.
Our keynote speaker for #YWCAhouOWL, is Mia Wright, Co-Pastor and Executive Director of Ministry at The Fountain of Praise Church.
