Each year, we coordinate a variety of community events presented as our Y-SHE CAN SERIES to educate women on various topics and increase awareness of pressing issues facing women and girls such as STEM education, housing, civil rights, fair wages, health awareness, youth leadership development, self-image, race relations, and more.

Yshe Can Do Business WE360 Progam

Women’s Empowerment 360° (WE360) is a national YWCA women’s empowerment program designed to put women and women of color entrepreneurs on the path to starting and maintaining successful businesses. WE360° utilizes the Ureeka program to help entrepreneurs with the creation of a new business. This program has helped 114 BIPOC Women Entrepreneurs. since its launch date in 2021 by offering tools, education, and support. we help many entrepreneurs start their businesses. Some examples are Doula Services, catering businesses, health and wellness services, and food trucks. Even if you don't have the right skills, we can teach you how to be an entrepreneur. Our program offers virtual business development courses for Women Entrepreneurs 100% free on an online platform.  Classes are self-paced and can be completed in as little as six weeks The program platform also provides resources like coaches, mentors, and financial experts for you to find the help you need to start your own business.

CEO Mentality Coaching Sessions, Strategy workshops 

Coaching sessions are designed to help you get a clearer sense of your business and life goals so that you can make better decisions about your work and personal life. Community Enrichment Program Manger Lorelle Woods is also an entrepreneur herself, with ample experience to share from her own personal journey, she knows what it takes to start a company from scratch. She has been there and done that, so she can provide valuable insight into what it takes to be successful in this industry. She has successfully launched her own fitness company Fitness Therapy after she completed cohort 1 of Yshecan Do Business and she then returned to the program to support the network of Entrepreneurs that is YShe Can do Business providing coaching services for program entrepreneurs and small businesses.
