Our Services

The YWCA uses the evidence-based Transition to Independence Process (TIP) Model for youth and young adults to help residents achieve their individual self-sufficiency goals.


Housing

We coordinate a variety of community events presented as our Y-SHE CAN SERIES to educate women on various topics and increase awareness of pressing issues facing women and girls.

"Y" She Can Series

YWCA Houston serves on average 300,000 meals to venerable home bounds seniors in Houston and surrounding areas, making us the second largest provider of Home Delivered Meals in the city of Houston and the largest provider of Congregate Meals.

TechGyrls

YWCA Houston TechGYRLS® seeks to empower young girls in the areas of STEM (science, technology, engineering, and math) and to encourage them to pursue careers within these fields, particularly for underrepresented girls.

Since 1907, we have been on a mission to serve women and girls across all generations.
